Inbody body composition analysis

There is so much more to losing weight then just losing weight.  We know this all too well at Crossfit Koinonia.  The scale lies.  We are happy to Introduce you to the Inbody 570.

It is easy to get discouraged by the dreaded “scale” because it only tells you how many pounds you weigh. If you gain or lose a pound on the scale, there is no way to know if you gained a pound of fat, muscle, water, or any combination of the three.
However, the Inbody 570 offers a convenient and affordable method to measure your lean body mass, body fat percentage, and water weight. With a 98% accuracy rate, you no longer need to bother with the inconvenience of an expensive water submersion test.

Some things you need to know to get as accurate of a testing as possible:

  • Always try to recreate the same testing environments (first thing in the morning is ideal).  
  •  DO NOT eat 2 hours before testing.
  • DO NOT workout for 12 hours before testing.
  • DO NOT Consume diuretics such as caffeine, alcohol, and medication before testing.
  • DO NOT test if you have a fever, cold, or chill.
  • DO NOT test during a menstrual cycle.
  • DO NOT consume alcohol 24 hours prior to the test.
  • DO NOT apply hand or foot lotion prior to the test.
